The Gerald Park Association was incorporated in 1951 -- which means that this year, the GPA has turned 75! To celebrate, join us at the beach for an ice cream party on Friday, August 28. We'll start the fun at 5:30pm with burgers and hot dogs, followed by an ice cream social starting at 6pm. We'll cap off the party with a full-moon paddle around 7:30pm to watch the moon rise -- just bring kayaks, canoes, paddleboard, life vests and a headlamp, flashlight, or lighted hat.
And surprise... we'll also be giving away these free water bottles with the GPA logo to mark 75 years!

Any GPA member is invited to store their kayak, canoe, or paddleboard on the racks at our Association beach, provided they are current on paying Association taxes. Here's how to reserve your spot:

IMPORTANT NOTE: As per Connecticut law, all canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, etc., must display an ID sticker with the owner's name and phone number. You can request free stickers by emailing the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) at deep.boating@ct.gov.
