Fun events for Summer 2026!
The GPA is 75 years old this year! The Board's Member Involvement Committee has planned some enjoyable events for this season:
A Smores Night was held the evening of Saturday, June 27, to coincide with the Town fireworks. The GPA provided the smores ingredients, and GPA neighbors came to enjoy the gooey treats and to watch the fireworks show!
Full-moon kayaking is planned for June 29, July 29, August 28, and September 26. Bring your own kayak, canoe, paddleboard, water bikes, etc. We'll meet at the beach at dusk and will paddle out to watch the moon rise. It's always an enjoyable time with neighbors!
Our annual Gerald Park Day picnic which was held on Sunday, July 19. The GPA provided burgers, dogs, and drinks. It was good times with friends!
An ice cream social, possibly over Labor Day weekend, to celebrate the Gerald Park Association's 75th anniversary. Details to come!
Our Beautiful GPA Beach and Park
The Gerald Park Association maintains a sandy beach and park on Avery Shores, open for free to GPA members. The beach has swim ropes (in season), a fire pit, and racks to store canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. See our beach rules and beach rack rules to learn more.
